Lincoln Cathedral

A Little Introduction

My name is Stacie and I live in Lincoln with my husband Ian and our beautiful daughter Emily. We have spent much of our married lives moving from place to place, including living abroad for some years, but are now happily settled in this lovely part of the country. Both of us have always shared our lives with cats, and cannot imagine life without them! Cats are like chocolates... you just can't stop at one!

Lincoln Cathedral
I was at college studying Graphic design when I met Ian, and I already had a mad Siamese cat, so I was delighted to find out that Ian's Mum bred Siamese and Persians, so it was obviously meant to be! After we lost our first Siamese one of the nicest things happened, Ian’s Mum gave us the best present we could ever have hoped for... a beautiful blue point Siamese girl!

Hollywood, as we called her, was going to be our foundation queen, and we did have a litter with her under the guidance of my mother-in-law. Our plans had also included looking for an Abyssinian girl at this time as well, but everything got put on hold when we moved abroad for five years. We took our cats with us of course, Hollywood and two of her daughters, and brought them back five years later! After we sadly lost all three from old age, we felt it was time to pick up on our original plans (Hollywood was still the best present ever, and gave us fifteen years of pleasure).

Maddy with her first litter
The rest is history! We were delighted to get our first usual Abyssinian girl ‘Maddy’ who has had some beautiful kittens already, and is a fantastic Mum. It was while taking Maddy to stud that we met our first Ocicat... in a house full of stunning Abys, Ian could not take his eyes off this little spotty cat!! On the journey home from the stud Ian informed me that the Ocicat would be our second breed!!

Our aim is to work with other breeders towards maintaining the health and beauty of these two already wonderful breeds.

So that is a very brief glimpse at our past. We invite you to share the future with us and our lovely cats, through this web site.
